The Tuscan Home Plan
The Tuscan home is a home that is designed to adapt to any kind of a situation. It is generally built with brick and stucco. If the house is built of wood or of rustic work, it is really expensive. The home is synonymous with simplicity and modernity. It reflects the modern Italian architecture the main features of which include a roof that stands six feet in the centre and projecting two and a half feet at the eaves. The window dressings are simple and bold in character. The main aim of a Tuscan home is nothing but a comfortable, convenient and compact arrangement which is affordable and has beautiful interiors. The Plan A veranda forms an inexpensive way to decorate your Tuscan home. The veranda has a roof that is covered with grape wines which are planted at the base of each post. The whole look is that of comfort and coziness. A Tuscan home may contain a hall or may be a passage that has the dimensions of around 10 by 11 feet, it opens into a parlor. It generally makes the area look more spacious and elegant. The position of stairs, in a space of around 8 by 11 feet, enables the occupants of such a home to use the front hall along with giving the staircase more privacy and a cottage kind of an arrangement. Now moving on to the living room, bedroom and the kitchen, which are the most important areas of a house for a family that lives in a moderate sized house. In such homes everything is under the eye of the lady of the house, the main aim being that the least of domestic assistance should be required. In such a house the kitchen is generally a one-story wing of a similar height as the veranda and thus, it corresponds with the veranda. . The kitchen is of the measurement 10 by 16 feet, with a couple of closets at one end, and a back porch which is located behind the pantry and to its other end stands the back door.
